Havey, MD Institute for Global Health Seminar, which will be a special in-person event featuring Northwestern Honorary Degree Recipient, Dr. Agnes Binagwaho, retired Vice Chancellor of the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) in Rwanda. Dr. Binagwaho started her career as a pediatrician who became outspoken for her work rebuilding the post-genocide Rwandan health system. Specifically, she led efforts to address the devastating effects of the HIV pandemic in Rwanda, which lead to her leadership positions within the Ministry of Health.
