Founders' Day marks the official opening of the academic year, celebrates the illustrious founders of the medical school and recognizes a rich history of more than 150 years of medical education. The formal ceremony features a welcome from the dean, a keynote address and concludes with the M1 class being presented their white coats as a group from the M2 class, and their first recitation of the Declaration of Geneva. Each M1 student attending the event can request up to four (4) guest tickets. IMPORTANT: Please select only the number of ticket(s) you plan to use for your guests. This will help us stay within capacity at the iconic Fourth Presbyterian Church where seating is limited. Seats are available on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets are free of charge and will be distributed to M1 students at Arrival Week Sign-In on July 29.
